Track every improvement, new feature, and bug fix as we make Content Creators Studio even better.
v1.3.0August 2026
New Features
- •Video Selector Pro is now Content Creators Studio — nothing moves and nothing is lost, your clips, ratings, picks and settings are exactly where you left them
- •Import straight from your iPhone — plug the phone in, tick the clips you want, name the shoot, and they copy into a new folder that opens ready to work in
- •The import grid is split by the day each clip was shot, newest first, so pulling in Saturday’s shoot off a phone holding a month of footage is one click
- •Edit mode: join your clips into a reel, trim and split them, drag to reorder, and export one file for Reels, TikTok, Shorts or the feed
- •Cut as many reels from a single folder as you like
- •Stills that move: drop captured frames into a reel, or build a slideshow from them, each with a slow Ken Burns zoom or pan
- •Music: lay a track under the whole reel, trimmed against its waveform and set to sit under your clips
- •Colour: grade each clip, match one to the next in a click, and save looks to use on every shoot
- •Dissolves and fades: set a dissolve cut by cut, and open or close the reel on black or white
- •Framing: choose which part of a clip you keep when it is a different shape from your reel
- •Export up to 4K, with length guides for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, or guides of your own
- •Snapshots mode: swap the filmstrip for every frame you have captured, shown full size, and step through them with the arrow keys
- •Snapshots in export: include your captured stills, choose which ones and where they land, renamed to stay paired with their clips
- •Crossfade the sound across a cut, so one clip’s sound carries half a second under the next and takes the jolt out of a change in room tone
- •Reorder clips across a whole folder — drag to either end of the filmstrip and it runs on its own, faster the harder you push
- •Move several clips at once with Shift-click for a run, or Command-click to pick them out one by one
- •Open Recent — the File menu now lists the last five folders you have had open
- •Automatic backups: your ratings and reels are copied quietly beside your clips, and restored if anything goes wrong
Improvements
- •Exporting clips now filters in the export sheet, and can move files instead of copying them
- •Export in the order you arranged, with sequential names numbered by it, without resorting the screen you were browsing
- •Ratings and marks can be set from the info panel
- •Settings for a reel and for the selected clip each live in a panel beside the picture
- •The music waveform shows the track’s shape again, drawing how loud each stretch actually is, so verses, choruses and the beats between them are visible to trim against
- •The arrow keys work the same way everywhere — in Edit mode, left and right move between the clips in your reel, and up and down step the playhead a frame at a time, or a second with Shift
Bug Fixes
- •Rating or marking a clip under a filter no longer skips the next one
- •Re-rating while sorted by rating keeps that clip selected
- •Rejecting from the filmstrip no longer moves the selection
- •A clip dropped on its neighbour was landing a place further along than where you put it
- •Rearranging the filmstrip could change which clip was playing
